William West

William E. West , 78, of Toledo, OH died on April 16, 2017 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL.  William was born on October 8, 1938 in Adams County, OH, son of Thomas and Hazel West.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea.  Mr. West was a police officer for the Toledo Police Department for 25 years.  He was a member of the VFW and FOP in Toledo, OH.  William spent his winters in Inverness since 2010.

Mr. West was preceded in death by his brother, Harold West and sister, Mae Morgan.  Survivors include five children, Larry Cornwell of Morehead, KY, Douglas West of Toledo, OH, Kathy Hotz of Inverness, FL, Thomas West of Middle Point, OH, and Mark Campbell West of Deltona, FL; sister, June Reynolds of San Diego, CA; brother, Dewey West of Seaman, OH; fifteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and companion, Pam Jennings of Toledo, OH.
